Call for Artists for our Abstract group show, "SYZYGY" themed show

Attention Artists!

We're excited to announce an open call for submissions for our upcoming group exhibition, "SYZYGY" Abstract show.   This is an opportunity for artists from all backgrounds and disciplines to showcase their work in Los Angeles and be part of an exciting artistic experience.  We are in search for 10-15 artists to participate, scheduled to showcase 05/04/2024.

We are eager to showcase a wide range of artistic styles and interpretations, from bold and expressive brushstrokes to intricate and contemplative compositions.

What is Abstract Art Today?

There are many definitions of abstract art. Over the past 100 years, the word “abstract” has become an umbrella term used to describe very diverse movements or directions in art.

The word “abstract” has several interesting definitions. Abstract means “… to consider apart from the concrete; general as opposed to the particular…”. It also means “… to take away secretly, remove, withdraw or purloin…”. 

It is this second definition that concerns all artists, because all art is to some extent abstract.
