Not Aspiring to Be Humble

All woman-identifying 2-D and video artists age 18+ are invited to submit their work to the "Not Aspiring to Be Humble" juried exhibition in the virtual gallery at 119 North Weatherly Contemporary Art Gallery in Minneapolis, MN. This exhibition will uplift women artists in the wake of the 2024 election in the United States, and all styles and subject matter are welcome. Each artist may submit up to three pieces for $11 each ($33 total), and because this exhibition takes place entirely online, all artists will keep 100% of the sales price of any piece that sells in the gallery--no commissions will be taken. Submission deadline: February 28, 2025. Artist notification date: March 7, 2025. Exhibition dates: March 10-April 30, 2025.

SHADOWS

VB Contemporary is accepting submissions to its upcoming "SHADOWS" exhibition for the Fall season with dates from Sept 1 - Nov 30. Submission by August 20. Artists world-wide form all levels and disciplines can apply to this 3D virtual exhibition.
About the Call:
The shadows in the work of art can be abstract or representational alluding to the mysterious and enigmatic. The shadow themed work in such becomes a bridge to philosophical thought encompassing the multitude of ways one views them, and how their invisible truths carry so much weight and significance especially in a work of art.

7th Midwest Open

The Midwest Open is an annual exhibition at WMG that highlights the achievements of women and nonbinary artists living in the American Midwest. WMG is looking for work unique to the vision of each artist, work that needs the world to complete it, or work that sings a song from the heart(land). Juror Pamela Callahan is an artist and poet who lives and works in Wisconsin. Supporter of Woman Made Gallery since 1993, she has juried exhibitions, curated literary programs and advised and advocated for WMG throughout the years.
