OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS // On-line Program 2025

This open call refers to the residency period going from October to December 2024.

GlogauAIR’s On-line Program is open to all nationalities and art disciplines. As much as we love creating and being together, we have embraced new ways of connecting to open up new ways of working through virtual tools in recent years.

The program includes curatorial support, regular group meetings, talks by experts and workshops. The artists are asked to work from their homes or personal studios, using material they can source.

What do we provide?

- Activities and workshops in group sessions with other artists from around the globe.

2nd Annual "Open Wide!" Juried Exhibition

All 2-D and 3-D artists ages 18+ are invited to submit up to three pieces for consideration in the 2nd Annual "Open Wide!" Juried Exhibition at 119 North Weatherly Art Gallery. All media and subject matter are welcome. 119 North Weatherly is an online virtual gallery space based in Minneapolis, so shipping of work is not required unless it sells during the exhibition and all artists selected for the show will keep 100% of their sales from the gallery. Submission deadline: January 31, 2024. Exhibition dates: February 6-March 30, 2024.

Open call: THERMAL

Science Gallery Atlanta’s upcoming exhibition, THERMAL, will explore the collective role we play in impacting our evolving global and local climates and our responsibility in directing the future of the Earth’s tangible and intangible resources. THERMAL will also represent a call to action for each of us – to embrace individual habits and efforts that can change our communities and develop new approaches to how we can transform our global environment. The theme for this Call Out is CELEBRATE ART WITH COLOUR.

​The Power of colour has a big impact in our World today especially on social media to catch the public attention. Colour is used to express our inner emotions and tell a story. We are looking for abstracts, portraits, digital art, landscapes, photography, collages, figurative and digital art  Black and white, monochrome is also a colour.
