Various literary and artistic calls have been collected in the present congress to depict the beauties of Muhammad (PBUH) - the Prophet of Mercy.

 

The congress includes the following sections and sub-sections:

Art:

Painting, poster, digital art, photography, calligraphy, calligraphy painting, typography, Tazhib, short film, and clip.

Literary: 

Poetry, short story

OPEN CALL: Media & Materials

doodmu gallery is now accepting submissions for Media & Materials exhibition. This online curated show will focus on the physicality of materials and exploration of various media including painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, digital and mixed media through form, color and texture. Contemporary representational and abstract work will be considered. Artists are invited to submit work related to the exhibition theme.

 

Eligibility:

Open to all artists 18 years and older

All visual art media will be considered

Enclave Land Art. Open call for the third edition of the artistic residency

ENCLAVE LAND ART and the Vall de Gallinera council (Alicante, Spain) with the support of Cultura Resident from Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana and the Direcció General del Cultura i Patrimoni de la Generalitat Valenciana, are glad to announce the open call for the Third Edition of the Enclave Land Art Residency.

Submissions should focus on the dialogue between human beings and nature so as to create an artistic Land Art itinerary in the area.

We will select seven projects from different artistic disciplines that will be developed and produced in the natural environment during the two weeks of the Art Residency, sharing experiences, ideas and a common goal.

Open call • Sustainable studio practice

This residency has been established as a safe space where you can develop a project focusing on the topic of sustainability within your artistic practice. It doesn’t have to be built around the production of art – quite the opposite: we are looking for art thinking projects that provide a new approach to studio practice in times of climate crisis. You will be working in a temporary community which will include artists from around the world. What most interests us is sustainability as method, not as subject. Our overall goal is to prepare a manual for sustainable studio practice which we can use in the future.

Superpresent Magazine - Fall Issue

Webster’s defines an “archive" as no more than “a repository or collection.”  But living in an age when we have accumulated more information than any single person could comprehend, we suspect that archives can be (should be?) more than that.  From Alexandria to archive.org, humans have tried to collect. And lost. What’s on scrolls in a jar not to be found, or lost in fire and ice, or on a cassette or floppy disk in an attic with no machine to read it?
