Resonance, residency at CERN for Geneva-based artists

Resonance invites artists based in Geneva to expand their practice in connection with physics by engaging in meaningful dialogue with CERN’s scientists, engineers, and staff.

Organised through an annual open call, Resonance offers a two-month, fully-funded residency at CERN.

The selected artist or collective will immerse themselves in CERN’s dynamic environment to develop their proposal, supported by a tailored programme designed by Arts at CERN’s team. Following the residency, artists will create new work inspired by CERN’s research and their exchanges with its community.

Open call for an artist to explore research in microbiology

The Austrian Centre of Industrial Biotechnology (acib) is pleased to announce this first open call for the ARTcib SciArt Residency at three academic partners of the acib academic partner network. With this open call we aim at opening up the academic as well as industry-related research at acib to a dialogue with artists and to push the boundaries of the inter- and transdisciplinary discourse in the field.
