Last Call for the 2022 NOT REAL ART Grant for Artists

Founded in 2019,  the NOT REAL ART Grant for Artists is a $12,000 annual award designed to empower the practice of 6 contemporary artists, each of whom receive $2,000. But, NOT REAL ART Grant winners get more than money. Each recipient gets to share their story and promote with exclusive, in-depth featured interviews on the NOT REAL ART podcast and blog. And, whether or not you receive our grant, every applicant automatically qualifies to be included in future blog stories, newsletters and our artist marketing database!

Hampton Iconic: Art Mart in Herrick Park

the official launch of the groundbreaking Hampton Iconic Artist Marketplace.

This first annual artist marketplace will be held in Herrick Park, in the heart of East Hampton Village, allowing artists the opportunity to exhibit their work and collectors the opportunity to buy directly (or direct?) from the artist.

Fifty artists will be selected by jury to participate in this two-day event, scheduled for August 6 & 7, from 10am to 5pm.

East Hampton has been, and still is, the home to many celebrated artists. Hampton Iconic Artist Marketplace will have special focus on East End Artists who draw inspiration from this unique part of mother earth.

The Neon Museum Artist Residency

Now in its seventh year, The Neon Museum’s Artist Residency (AIR7) is designed to expand the interpretive potential of the museum collection. The selected artist will have the opportunity to develop a new body of work inspired by the museum’s historic sign collection and the broader cultural context of the spectacular city of Las Vegas. A community engagement project is an integral aspect of the residency, along with a culminating exhibition.
The 2022 residency program will introduce the selected artist to Las Vegas in a visit preceding the residency. They will be welcomed by the residency team who will facilitate cultural explorations and information gathering in support of the residency project.
