2025-2026 Folger Institute Long-term Public Humanities Fellowship

The new Long-term Public Humanities Fellowship is designed to draw on the strengths of the Folger’s collections, exhibitions, and programming themes. The fellow will be expected to devote 75% of their residency to research and 25% to implementing public humanities engagement for Folger audiences, in cooperation with Folger Institute staff. Applicants must propose and detail four touchstones of public humanities engagement they will develop and implement during their residency.

Applicants are not required to hold a terminal degree but should describe their equivalent training and industry-specific experience in their CV. One Long-term Public Humanities Fellowship will be offered at $70,000 for a standard period of 9 months.

Folger Institute Artistic Research Fellowships are open to all artists whose work would benefit from significant primary research related to the histories, concepts, art, and objects of the early modern world (ca. 1400-1800) and its legacies. Artistic applicants are not required to hold a formal degree, but should describe their training and level of industry-specific experience in their CV.

Open Call BAiR 2025: Trigger Witness

Brno Artists in Residence & Galerie G99 invite you to participate in an open call for all researchers in the field of contemporary art (visual artists, theoreticians or curators) of any nationality, gender and age to participate in a two-month residency in 2025. The BAiR residency programme is institutionally managed by the Brno House of Arts.

THE THEME OF BAIR AND G99 IN 2025
In 2025 G99 and BAiR (Brno Artist in Residence) announce an open call for residencies focused on exploring emotional triggers. Based on this open call, three residencies will take place, spread over the dates 1 March–30 April 2025 and 15 May–15 July 2025.

OPEN CALL is for young musicians, performers,  artistic researchers, and anybody else interested in presenting his/her project in the Forum Platform.
