How to increase your chances to get selected in art exhibitions

The question all artists are asking themselves is simple:

How can I increase my chances of being selected in art exhibitions, calls, and other art competitions?
To answer that, it’s important to understand that the discipline require to create art is no different than what it takes to market, sell, and showcase it to potential buyers and art lovers.
Before you apply for any such opportunity, ask yourself why you need to be a part of a particular exhibition. In other words, make an effort to understand how it could affect your career prospects.

Call for entries – Average Art 13 (August)

Average Art is an industry focused art magazine. Our goal is to draw attention to self representing artists. We are now taking entries for the August edition of average art magazine.

Brief: send us a large digital image of your work. Also send us any information you think is relevant. Any text needs to be kept brief as we get hundreds of submissions.

Wotisart? #3 Call for

Wotisart is a portfolio magazine. our goal is to allow unknown artists an avenue to show their work and gain some recognition in the industry and also to answer the question... What is art?

DEBBI KATZ PRODUCTIONS is a full service event production company that provides exceptional event consulting, from conception to execution. Our staff is highly experienced, well trained and skilled at creating unforgettable experiences on behalf of our clients. 

Commission artists needed for foam pumpkin-jack o’lantern illustrating and carving. Artists needed to illustrate images on foam pumpkins using provided art work on provided foam pumpkins.   Images can be transferred to the surface using a combination of techniques including charcoal rubbing, projector or free handing. 

Can work part time in our shop in Westchester county NY or at home.  Payment after successfully completed work.
