The 1st Asian Contemporary Fine Art Competition

The Asian Contemporary Fine Art Competition aims to discover and celebrate talented Asian, Asian diaspora artists and artists residing in Asia at any stage of their careers. It is a significant opportunity to promote
artists, who embrace the diverse Asian culture, on an international level.

With a distinguished panel of jurors, our
awards valued at over $55,000, are chosen to give selected artists immense opportunities for exposure.
Prizes include participation in a collective exhibition in New York, an Art Fair, online promotion, and
generous cash awards.

Entries for the 2020 Asian Contemporary Fine Art Competition
are accepted until December 1st, 2020. The results will be published on February 2nd, 2021.

2019 Artist Residencies in Thailand

ComPeung artist-in-residence program is now accepting applications for 1-3 month residencies beginning in July 2019 through December 2019.

At ComPeung you will grow personally and artistically, and discover possibilities outside your current realm of internal and external experience.

ComPeung is the first and longest ongoing independent residency program in Thailand. Artist-run and supported by a residency fee, ComPeung offers artists complete freedom, time, and space to dive deep into their process and develop new works.

Three Shadows Beijing Artist-in-Residency Program

Three Shadows Photography Art Centre is the leading art space in China dedicated solely to photography and new media. We welcome artists to come live and work inside our Ai Weiwei-designed grounds in a quiet corner of Beijing. Resident artists are encouraged to design a unique program during their stay—e.g. creating new commissions, collaborating with other artists in Beijing, or teaching workshops in the area. Although the AIR program is primarily tailored to photographers, Three Shadows also gladly accepts artists working in other media, as well as researchers and curators interested in living and working in China.
