New School Abstract Juried Competition and Gallery Exhibition

NEW SCHOOL ABSTRACT

Cutting edge Hermosa Beach gallery is looking for the best working abstract artists to feature in an upcoming group exhibition at ShockBoxx Gallery at the end of August. The top artist submissions will win a Cash Prize and Award Certificate, as well as receiving Featured Wall Space in the exhibition. Since Abstract is subjective, we leave it up to you to choose your best artwork to submit to this Competition and Group Show. All mediums are welcome. Submit only the work that you like best.

Artworks will be judged based on creativity, interpretation, originality, quality of work, composition, and overall artistic ability.

Jurors: Mike Collins (ShockBoxx gallery owner), Sarah Svetlana, Preston M. Smith and Astrid Parker

Global Nonviolent Film Festival

Global Nonviolent Film Festival is the most important and renown nonviolent film festival in the world and it takes place on its on-line TV Channel.

The 2019 and 8th edition of the Festival takes place September 19 - 29.

The Choice Awards recognize outstanding photographers working in all processes and subject matter. Images can be singular or part of a series. The Awards are divided into three categories: Curator’s Choice, Editor’s Choice, and Director’s Choice.

 

-Entry Fee: $70 members - $85 nonmembers for ALL CATEGORIES

-Entry Fee: $30 members - $40 nonmembers for INDIVIDUAL CATEGORIES
