Photographers of all levels are invited to submit work reflecting the theme "botanical" to A Smith Gallery by February 17, 2025.  Entries of 13 or more images are eligible for a complementary review by the gallery directors. The entry fee is $40 for the first 5 images and $5 for each additional image.  Forty seven images will be selected for exhibition and shown in the online gallery from March 14 to April 24, 2025.  An exhibition catalogue will be available for purchase. 27 images from the total 47 images will be selected for “The 27”, a limited edition hardbound fine art book of the exhibition.

Flora & Fauna invites artists to celebrate characters of the natural world, real and imagined, living and extinct, peaceful and poisonous. Nature is mankind’s greatest muse when creating art, and there is a long and rich history of artists representing plants and animals in their artwork, often with layered and hidden meanings. Artists of all media are encouraged to submit!
