SITU Festival - VI edition 2025

The a.p.s. Zona Blu presents the launch of the open call 2025 for the sixth edition of the SITU Festival project, the artist residency and site-specific festival invites artists to work closely in the Sicilian territory at Ficarra (ME) from 18 to 31 August 2025.

Botanicals Art Competition

We are pleased to announce our third Botanicals online Art Competition for the month of April 2025. The theme may include any work that interprets botanical and floral art (flowers, herbs, fruits, leaves, plants and related botanical subjects). All visual art mediums are allowed. <p style="text-align: justify;">In addition to the selected artists, the jury will select award winners in the following art categories: painting, photography, sculpture. All selected artists will receive a digital award certificate. An article about each artist will be displayed alongside the best of show and three winners. The best of show will be displayed on the poster of the exhibition.

Colors Art Competition

We are pleased to announce our fourth Colors online Art Competition for the month of February 2025. In this open-themed competition, the focus is on "Colors," emphasizing the power and vibrancy of color. Submissions may explore a single dominant color or a rich palette of multiple hues. Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme creatively, whether through representational, abstract, or conceptual approaches. All artistic interpretations of "Colors" are welcome. Selected artists will receive a digital award certificate. An article about each artist will be displayed alongside the best of show and three winners. The best of show will be displayed on the poster of the exhibition.

Faces Art Competition

We are pleased to announce our third Faces online Art Competition for the month of February 2025. Artists are encouraged to share their creative interpretation of the human or animal face, highlighting its essence and expressive qualities. All visual art mediums are allowed.In addition to the selected artists, the jury will select award winners in the following art categories: painting, photography, sculpture. All selected artists will receive a digital award certificate. An article about each artist will be displayed alongside the best of show and three winners. Green Art Competition

We are pleased to announce our second Green online Art Competition for the month of January 2025.  You are welcome to submit any style or subject matter as long as the theme color "Green" is prominent. All visual art mediums are allowed.

Nature Art Competition

We are pleased to announce our third Nature online Art Competition for the month of December 2024. The theme may include everything that is nature related, (landscapes, seascapes, skies, world of flora and fauna, etc). A variety of interpretations of nature theme can be submitted (representative, abstract, conceptual).&nbsp; All artistic styles and mediums are welcome for consideration. In addition to the selected artists, the jury will select award winners in the following art categories: painting, photography, sculpture. All selected artists will receive a digital award certificate. An article about each artist will be displayed alongside the best of show and three winners.
