WHITE WAVE will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary Virtual DUMBO DANCE FESTIVAL from June 10th-13th, 2021.

The 2021 VIRTUAL DUMBO DANCE FESTIVAL (VDDF) will be a marathon showcase of cutting-edge contemporary dance, featuring both emerging and eminent dancemakers.

We are proud to announce that the 20th anniversary’s VDDF will be presented for the first time with VIRTUAL, include over 70+ companies with 350+ performing artists, reaching an audience of about 4,000 people of all ages.

The Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning (JCAL) invites NYC-based dance companies and choreographers to apply via open call for the 11th Annual Making Moves Dance Festival 2020 ~ Switchin’ It Up (MMDF2020). 

MMDF2020 offers paid performance opportunities for 11 choreographers on both the indoor and outdoor stages of the Jamaica Performing Arts Center on Friday, Sept. 25, 2020 and Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, with an Outdoor Kickoff Party on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020.

MADC's Move to Change Open Submission Call

MODArts Dance Collective (MADC) is elated to announce its Second Annual Move to Change Dance Festival on Friday & Saturday, November 8-9, 2019 7:30PM at University Settlement, 184 Eldridge Street, NY, NY 10002. The purpose of Move to Change is to use dance as a form of social justice and arts activism through the lens of people of color (POC). The goal of Move to Change is to create cultural and gender affirming spaces for artists of color (African, Latina/o/x, Asian, Arab, Native American [ALAANA]), MENA, & SWANA to present longer works reflecting their personal stories to influence their respective communities and the world around them.
