OPEN CALL FOR SOLO EXHIBITION

Dacia Gallery invites emerging and established artists to submit artwork for an opportunity to have a Solo Exhibition. We are looking for new talented artists to exhibit and to possibly represent as well. The gallery will advertise and promote the selected artist for the exhibition and host a formal Opening Reception for the exhibit, including an Artist Talk during the opening reception.

We are actively searching for new talented artists in all media and styles for the upcoming exhibition season. If you are looking for gallery representation and to have a Solo Show in New York City, submit your art that we may discover your compelling work and present it to the public, gallery directors, curators and collectors.

Who Can Participate: Open to all Visual Artists, national and international, in all media and forms of art

Accepted Artwork: Painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography, digital art, mixed media, illustration, etc. In other words, all creative culminations are welcome

Applications are now open for our online exhibition “Tell Me More”. This is a curated show themed around works of art that lead the viewer toward a story, from intimate scenes of everyday life to images of social unrest, from artwork that reveals a personal story to images that tell a story of universal truth. A narrative within a single frame or simultaneous stories concentrated on repeatable patterns, a moment in an ongoing story or a sequence of events unfolded over time. What is your way to present narrative? What is your story? We want to discover it through your artworks.

International Call | Sunset Kino Award 2021

The Salzburger Kunstverein announces the inaugural call for the 2021 Sunset Kino Award for excellence in
contemporary film and video.

Supported by patrons “Elke & Harald,” the award consists of two €4,000 prizes, and screenings of the winning
films at Sunset Kino, a film festival hosted by the Salzburger Kunstverein in the summer of 2021.

The award is for professional artists aged 35 and younger working in contemporary film or video. Artists should submit
films or videos they have made since the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis. Submitted work does not have to be
thematically related to Covid-19, only produced during this time. Applicants should have a significant professional
practise (ie. exhibitions or screenings in contemporary art institutions or film festivals). Only one film per candidate
(maximum length of 60 minutes) may be submitted. This must beaccompanied by a short preview (maximum
three minutes) of the submitted film.

Applications (in German or English) should take the form of a single word or pdf document by email to
info@salzburger-kunstverein.at (subject line: Sunset Kino Award 2021) in the following format:

1. One page cover letter with contact details and with hyperlinks to submitted film & preview of film
(uploaded online via vimeo, youtube or other accessible platform, password protected is acceptable). A
short description of the film may be included here.
2. Two page (maximum) CV listing exhibitions / screenings.

Deadline for submissions: May 16th, midnight Central European Time, 2021. Late applications or
applications without previews or with incorrect criteria will not be reviewed. Please do not send DVDs
or .mov files. Only the successful candidates will be contacted. The jury is Omer Fast (Artist & Filmmaker),
Aziza Harmel (Curator, Kunsthalle Wien) and Bernardo José de Souza (Curator, Spain/Brazil).

Time and Tide- Online Curated Exhibition

Applications are now open for our online exhibition “Time and Tide”. This is a juried show revolving around the theme of passage of time, ageing, repetitive patterns of tides, imprint of time and the memory of materials, weathered textures that withstand the test of time, and shifting tides of emotions. We invite artists to submit work in any medium related to the theme. What does “Time and Tide” evoke in you? We want to discover it through your artworks.

IncuArts invites women identifying and gender non-conforming artists to submit work for SHE/ HER/ THEY/ THEM- an exhibition exploring ideas related to gender and celebrating women and gender-nonconforming artists.

Selected artists will have their work featured in the online exhibition and via social media platforms.

Artists of all media are encouraged to apply.

Each artwork will be considered based upon the merit of individual images submitted by each artist.
