August PleinAir Salon Online Art Competition

The 15th Annual PleinAir Salon is an online art competition with 11 monthly cycles, and is open to a variety of mediums and styles. It’s not just for plein air painters! We invite a variety of top master artists, museum directors and gallery owners to judge each month. All monthly winners are automatically included in the Annual Competition where the Grand Prize winner receives $15,000 and has their painting featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine, the #1 representational art magazine at Barnes & Noble.

In addition to over $50,000 in ALL Cash Prizes, winners receive exposure and recognition through our various magazines, websites, newsletters and social media platforms.

AAP Magazine #51 Colors $1,000 Cash Prizes + Publication

Life is a stream of colors. Red, blue, yellow, and all the possible combinations in between these primary colors without forgetting black and white surround us everywhere. 

Send us your images - preferably a cohesive body of work or portfolio - both where colors may not just influence the pictures, but where it may also be the subject solely. The contest is open to any color photography interpretation, from photojournalism, street photography, artistic photography, portrait, nude, landscapes, nature, wildlife, urban, architecture, fashion, fine art or documentary photography.

Winners will receive $1,000 in cash awards, their winning image(s) or full portfolio published in AAP Magazine #51, extensive press coverage and global recognition.

AAP Magazine #50 Shapes $1,000 Cash Prizes + Publication

Our 50th printed issue of AAP Magazine will feature the best projects showcasing the theme "Shapes". A shape is the form of an object or its external boundary, outline, or external surface. Look around you, observe all the points, lines, patterns or silhouettes that surround us. Square or circle, triangle or hexagon, rectangle or oval, the choice is yours!
