Designed to Dine

This juried exhibition will run the month of September 2017.
The exhibition will feature handmade items for the well-appointed dining table. This includes plates, chargers, bowls, candleholders, tureens, ladles, centerpieces, spoons, forks, knives, drinking vessels, etc.
Complete place settings are also welcomed and count as a single entry.

Eligibility and Media

This exhibit is open to all artists in the United States. Work must have been completed within the past 18 months. All submitted entries must represent tableware, either functional or decorative. A maximum of 3 pieces per artist will be reviewed.

 

Ceramics Studio Manager

The Canvas Art Studio and Gallery in Juneau, Alaska is seeking an experienced ceramicist to manage our ceramics studio and instruct beginning wheel and other ceramics arts classes.  This is a 3/4 time position with a lot of flexibility and room for growth.  We are seeking a self-motivated and creative artist who will have ideas for program development, willingness to work with community of all ages, and a passion for ceramics that they are willing to share with the community.  The ideal candidate will have a varied practice and a willingness to pursue their own art and participate in the local arts community.
