Beach Walk Artist in Residence Grant

We are an Artist in Residence grant program for rental apartment communities, creating new pathways for artists to thrive, and for fellow residents to celebrate the spirit of arts in community. American Landmark: Artist in Residence provides no-cost housing and studio space for up to one year for selected visual artists. In return, grant recipients are responsible for implementing community-wide, on-site art programs.

Who Are You? Open Call: Interview Participants for Artist Jenn Cacciola's Audio Tapestry

NY-based mixed-media artist, Jenn Cacciola is currently working on a large-scale, multi-layered tapestry piece that employs audio interviews and other recordings as a "soundtrack," to be projected from the piece during exhibitions. She is now in residency at the Sheen Center for Thought & Culture in Manhattan, conducting personal one-on-one interviews with and simultaneously creating portraits of volunteers, that will be an essential part of research for the piece.

Artist Call – Workshops for Children and Families

Oriel Davies is seeking creative practitioners with a background in participatory practice to deliver a programme of workshops for children and families in Oriel Davies’ pop-up project and event space The Kitchen.

We are looking for up to 6 artists to run workshops and activities that take inspiration from The Kitchen, both the project space and all things relating to the domestic setting.  In addition, there are four Big Draw workshops, which should be based on the 2017 festival theme – Living Lines.

 

Artist Residency Call | Bettws Lifehouse

We are seeking a creative practitioner with a background in participatory practice to take on a six-day residency in Oriel Davies’ pop-up project and event space The Kitchen, working with a group of students with autism, moderate learning needs and behavioral difficulties.

We are inviting proposals from, but not limited to, visual and digital artists, performance makers, creative writers, filmmakers, illustrators and craft specialists. Although the focus of the residency is the development and delivery of four workshops with a group of students from Bettws Lifehouse. There is also opportunity to produce a mix of artistic engagement activities for general visitors and develop creative interventions in The Kitchen project space.
