#besmartaboutart networkingis a monthly opportunity to meet and develop relationships with artists, curators & other peers and to expand knowledge - creative and professional alike.

In December 2016, we're visiting Gallery Elena Shchukina, a Mayfair space that brings contemporary art to London, with a focus on identifiable or innovative techniques. The gallery, which runs a programme of lectures in conjunction with each show, will be simultaneously staging two solo exhibitions at the time of our event:

Returning Home,an exhibition of ink wash and oil painting by Paris-based Chinese artist Chen Jiang-Hong.

Weaving Threads of Silk, an exhibition of paintings by Shangai-based artist TSAI YuLung.

About the event:

Starting at 6.30pm, we'll start with viewing the shows, in combination with casual networking. At approximately 7.00pm, Gallery Director Elena Shchukina will give a talk on the art programme and will also provide a brief tour of the exhibitions. After the talk and tour have concluded, everyone will segway into mingling with Be Smart About Art's popular networking tips.
