Bemis Center Curator In Residence 2024-2025

Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts is now accepting applications from national and international curators for its 2024-2025 Curator-in-Residence Program. Beginning May 2024, the successful candidate will participate in an 18-month fully subsidized live/work residency as part of Bemis Center’s acclaimed Artist-in-Residence Program. They will originate and present one exhibition and related public programs inclusive of local, national and international artists.The Curator-in-Residence will have space and freedom to work on research and curatorial projects independent of their exhibition at Bemis.

KUNSTRAUM is excited to announce our Curator-in-Residence (CIR) program. 
The CIR will be directing KUNSTRAUM’s gallery program for 12 months – be able to develop and present their vision, and to expand and spotlight their curatorial practice in the New York art world. The goal of the CIR program is to facilitate exhibitions and events to engage our community while also encouraging invited curators, artists, and other guests to collaborate, think critically, and take risks in their practices. The CIR residency starts June 2020.

Introduction

Est-Nord-Est (ENE) is an artist-run centre whose mission is to provide an international community of artists and authors in contemporary art with support by offering space and time for research and experimentation, as well as privileged access to local resources and knowhow.

The centre is situated in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, a village on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, in a unique geographic and historical locale. The predominant aspects of the landscapes are farms, forests, and the river. Saint-Jean-Port-Joli is situated 115 km from Quebec City and 350 km from Montreal.
