THE WALL SERIES VOL. 8

Dear fellow Performing Artists…

We are looking forward to our 8th volume of The Wall Series at PAUL Studios Berlin! This bi-monthly performance series gives artists an opportunity to present their works in progress or finished works in an intimate setting for an enthusiastic audience.

For Vol. 8, we are looking for artists who would like to present their work on Friday, July 5th and Saturday, July 6th 2019. We are open to performers of all disciplines interested in sharing their pieces in an intimate venue and/or in an outdoor space. All performers will receive 5 hours of free rehearsal time at PAUL Studios Berlin prior to the performance.

Submitted performances must:

Be under 20 minutes in length

As the 50th anniversary of Stonewall approaches, El Sotano Art Space invites New York based dancers to submit work to this open call. We are looking for work that enacts a revolutions through movement and corporality.

 

Considering the first terrain that we inhabit to be our bodies and from this point all actions that seek revolution and to revolt part from. Thinking of the body as a place where one inhabits and insurrection permeates, the body acts as a terrain where resistance leaves its mark.

Applications are open for Small Plates Choreography Festival, a curated dance performance series to be presented on September 20 and 21, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. at The Arts at Marks Garage in Honolulu. Scapino Summer Creative

For (pre)professional contemporary dancers

In the summer of 2019 the first edition of the Scapino Summer Creative will take place. During two weeks you can participate in an intensive program that contains ballet classes, repertoire workshops and masterclasses. The Scapino Summer Creative offers an inspiring program in which the company’s unique technique and repertoire are in the lead. As a dancer you will be challenged to develop your creative talents, to co-create and to show your identity. You will work with our international artistic team of choreographers, teachers and dancers. The Summer Creative is under supervision of artistic director Ed Wubbe.
