Bluedot Festival Open Call for Commissions, with Light Night Leeds

Bluedot is inviting artists to apply to create one of two new commissions for the festival in 2019. The first commission will be awarded in partnership with Light Night Leeds with artists being expected to create a commission that explores light art and interactivity. Successful artist applicants of both commissioning levels will receive funding, publicity around their commission and support from the festival's production team and Creative Director to realise their idea. This opportunity is open to artists at any level of their career, and anybody residing in the UK is eligible to apply. We welcome proposals from artists who wish to develop an existing work, as well as proposals for new pieces of artwork.

6th Annual “ALL Photography and Digital Art” Online Art Competition

Contemporary Art Gallery Online encourages entries from all 2D artists regardless of their experience,education in the art field or where they may reside.  This is an international competition and everyone is encouraged to participate. A group exhibition of all entrants will be held online at the Contemporary Art Gallery Online following the close of the competition for thirty days.  

There is No Theme for this Current Art Competition.  Artists should submit their best representational and non-representational photographic and/or digital art.  Here is a link to last years EXHIBITION, so as to better demonstrate this month's theme.

Blinking rectangles of various sizes dominate our digital daily lives. Cameras and sensors capture our every move. Networks, algorithms and protocols, document, predict and alter our behavior. Theoretically, human beings are more connected than ever before.

But are we?

While some view the analog to digital transition as a great equalizer and a unifying force, others see it as quite the opposite—a secularizing, divisive means to a lonely, uber-fractionalized society.

Art & Beyond Publications
holds Content  and Cover Competition  for Online Special issue: Digital Art and Photography.

Multiple winners will be chosen: Four artists will be awarded to be on the Covers (Front Cover, Back Cover, Inside Front Cover and Inside Back Cover) and 20+ artists will be chosen to be published in the Online magazine.

Winners will be awarded with One Full Page article published in the Art & Beyond Online Magazine and will be promoter to galleries and museums through newsletters, PR and social media.
