Students displaced by Art Institute of Philadelphia closure welcome to explore options at Delaware College of Art and Design

Students whose plans to complete a degree at the Art Institute of Philadelphia have been derailed by the school’s recently announced plans to close are invited to explore higher education possibilities at Delaware College of Art and Design.

The Art Institute of Philadelphia will cease to operate as of Aug. 28. DCAD’s fall semester will commence that same day.

Like the Art Institute of Philadelphia, DCAD offers degree studies in animation and graphic design. These and DCAD’s other two-year associate’s programs – in fine arts, illustration and photography – prepare students for transfer into bachelor’s programs at four-year colleges and universities throughout the state, region and beyond.
