Human Geographies

Chili Art Gallery in collaboration with the Art Curator Paris Kapralos invites artists to submit their interest in participating in the exhibition “Anthropogeographies.” The exhibition will be physically hosted in Athens and simultaneously accessible online.

This exhibition explores the interactions between the natural/artificial/virtual-technological environment and humans.

Original artworks of any style and artistic processing, representational or non-representational, expressionism, symbolism, abstraction, or any other choice, are accepted for the exhibition. Artworks such as paintings, prints, photographs, digital prints, collages, mosaics, sculptures, and video art are all welcome.

Diversion - Catalogue Publication & Online Exhibit

The best in show artists will have their work published with a critical review in our Artist Feature catalogue. Artists participating in our online exhibit will have 2 works of art on display and links to their website and social media. Artists keep 100% sales of their work.

The Odyssey of the True Self

Open Call for artworks and artists in the international art exhibition “The Odyssey of the True Self,” commemorating the anniversary of the death (April 22nd) of Miguel de Cervantes, the “father” of Don Quixote, is extended by the Art Curator Vera Katranidou. The exhibition, with physical presence, will take place in Luminous Eye, an established art gallery in the centre of Athens by the Acropolis Museum in April 2024, and simultaneously it will be accessible online globally with the support of ARTgrID.

commemorative catalog – book will be issued for the exhibition, available forever for free to everyone in digital format.

Who is eligible?

Everyone can apply: young, old, self-taught or not, every background and ethnicity is welcome.

Artists in any medium can apply.

​Besides the grant money, the recipient or recipients will also get a free feature in our Goddessarts Magazine and will be included in one virtual group exhibition.

How does the grant work?

​The grant will be given in full to one or more artists, depending on how many people apply. We want to point out here, that the Goddessarts Magazine does not take any of the amount that goes into the pot!

How can artists participate?

​In order to be considered, you have to contribute 20 € into the grant pot.

The theme is "Show Your Colors" and is open for artistic interpretation. The exhibition will run through pride month and especially LGBTQIA+ artists are welcome to submit.
