Open Script Call/Writer Call for Feature Film

About Us

Catsnake have been making short films, online videos and TVC for the third sector for over a decade, with the aim of creating a social impact for our charity clients. We are now looking to tell our stories on a larger canvas and are looking for talented screenwriters/writers/dreamers to collaborate with.

Our focus is on telling stories that change beliefs and behaviour. We believe deeply in the power of narratives to engage, entertain, and lead to positive change for our communities, our environment and our collective future.

We have a highly collaborative, relaxed culture, driven by laughter and creativity and fuelled by many cups of tea.

Margate Film Festival Call For Submissions

Margate Film Festival is a project born out of the turbulence of changing cultural landscapes and a love for the chaos of creativity. A journey through the wilderness of the cinema; of art, politics, identity, feminism, music, performance and more.

The festival connects local communities and artists with national and international initiatives to create a DIY, collaborative film & visual arts celebration. The festival will bring together British and foreign film, shorts and features from the festival circuit; beloved classics and archive film, paired with live experimental performances, Q&As and discussion.

This year it will expand to include artists moving image, audio-visual installations and a programme of talks.
