Firing Imagination: Contemporary Ceramics & Glass

Firing Imagination: Contemporary Ceramics & Glass is a juried exhibition highlighting the demanding technical aspects and wide variety of creative exploration possible in these challenging media. Entries will be accepted from throughout the Western United States. The show will be juried by artists Susannah Israel and Otto Rigan.  More than 50 works may be included in the exhibition and should represent the very best being created today.  Works featuring glass and/or ceramics, in any technique, will be considered. Works in mixed media are acceptable if glass or ceramic elements are prominently included.

On view April 8 – May 24, 2020.

Sculpture Trail at Saltaire Festival Open Gardens

We are looking for artists working in any 3D medium suitable for external display to show work in one of around twelve small garden spaces.
This two-day event is a a major element of the Festival Opening Weekend
Because of the nature of the Grade II listed architecture in the village, most spaces are small - many no more than enclosed back-yards, so the event is suitable for sculptural ceramics and glass as well as sculpture.
Work may be for sale, and the footfall for the event is very good.
There is a small fee to selected artists of £20 to contribute to publicity and administration costs for this volunteer-run event, but no commission is taken on sales.
