Episode 14 – Mirrors of Strength - Recognizing Our Power

How often do we overlook our own strength?

In Episode 14 of Art Therapy with MindSoul Meditations, we invite you to explore the power that lives within—but isn’t always easy to see. “Mirrors of Strength” is an open call to create artwork that reflects the resilience, growth, and personal power that often go unnoticed in ourselves.

This theme asks artists to visualize hidden strength—through reflecting pools, layered imagery, multiple perspectives, or other creative lenses that reveal what’s beneath the surface. Your art will help illuminate the quiet capacity for courage, endurance, and transformation that exists in all of us.

The Quiet Flame - Protecting Inner Light

There are times when the world feels cold, chaotic, or uncertain—and yet, something in us keeps glowing.

In Episode 12 of Art Therapy with MindSoul Meditations, we honor The Quiet Flame—that small, steady light inside each of us that refuses to go out. This episode invites creators to visualize how we keep our inner fire alive during difficult seasons, and how art can act as both a lantern and a shield.

What Is the “Quiet Flame”?

The Quiet Flame is the symbol of hope, warmth, and creative spirit that persists in darkness. It is the light we protect when the winds rise, the ember we nurture when the fire dims. It’s not always bright—but it’s always alive.

Where the Light Enters

This exhibition explores the transformative power of vulnerability, pain, and resilience. Inspired by Rumi's timeless words, "The wound is the place where the Light enters you," the collection invites artists to interpret emotional, physical, and spiritual wounds as gateways to illumination, strength, and beauty. Through diverse media and personal narratives, the exhibition becomes a sanctuary where brokenness is not hidden—but honored as a source of light.

Hope Is A Thing We Build - SWAF 2025

‘To be hopeful in bad times is not just foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of cruelty, but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, kindness… And if we do act, in however small a way, we don’t have to wait for some grand utopian future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvellous victory.’ – Howard Zinn
