DREAMS — International Art Book Open Call

Barbagelata Contemporary Art Foundation invites visual artists and writers worldwide to submit work for DREAMS, a curated collectible art book dedicated to the surreal, the symbolic, and the unseen landscapes of the imagination.

DREAMS explores memory, atmosphere, metamorphosis, mythology, longing, subconscious narratives, and the poetic logic that exists beyond waking life. We seek work that inhabits the space between reality and illusion; images and texts that linger, disturb, enchant, or reveal.

Selected artists and writers will be published in a carefully curated international print and digital volume alongside contemporary creatives from around the world.

To understand blue is to understand light.

A Theory of Blue invites artists to explore the colors, atmospheres, and emotions of summer. From sunlit coastlines and endless horizons to fleeting memories, water, sky, bloom, warmth, and wonder, this edition celebrates the season as both a place and a state of mind.

We welcome interpretations that are literal or abstract, intimate or expansive, rooted in landscape, emotion, memory, or imagination. Whether through vibrant color, quiet minimalism, or experimental approaches, we seek works that capture the many ways summer inhabits us.
