From 2017 Cripta747 has ran a Studio Programme to promote the international mobility, the stay in the town of artists from all over the world and the growth of the city’s cultural fabric.

Casa Regis - center for culture and contemporary art, Italy, is looking to engage your creative mind. As the founder, I am always looking for win-win situatiions. We are launching a kickstarter campaign and we are doing it with help from artists and arts leaders. Contribute your art skill and be published in our campaign. Please send a proposal ASAP.

July residency in the Taleggio Valley, Italy

Peghera is a small village in the heart of the stunning Taleggio Valley, north of Bergamo and Milan. The residency, which runs for four weeks in July, offers artists the opportunity to explore this beautiful territory and the traditions of the region by providing  housing in the village and a shared studio space in the local museum. There are plenty of hiking trails and neighbouring villages, each one unique, to explore. The town of San Pellegrino, home ot the famous bottled water, is a short drive away. Famous for its cheese, Peghera holds its annual Taleggio cheese festival in July. The residency has an open program, but artists working with themes of food, the environment, social and/or sustainable practices are encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply is February 20.

Residency + Symposium in Sardinia, Italy, June 2019

For three weeks in June (3-24) a group of artists will populate the quaint streets of Nurri, a village on the beautiful island of Sardinia, Italy. The theme of the residency is Su Bixinau, or The Neighbourhood. We will work in an abandoned convent, full of atmospheric rooms, chapels, a cloister and a secret garden. The exhbition at the end will be held here. Additionally, participating artists are invited to take part in an art festival in San Sperate, celebrating the art of Sardinian sculptor Pinnuccio Sciola. from May 31-June 2, as guests of the town. There will be events organized for the artists for this symposium. Sardinia contains some of Europe's best beaches as well as fascinating archeaological sites. Villages have strong local traditions and embrace a zero kilometre diet.

July residency in northern Italy

For four weeks in July 2019, the Terra Vivente aritst residency will host artists in the village of Peghera in the heart of the Taleggio Valley. A group of up to four artists will be selected to join Terra Vivente to explore, research and create work. At the end of the residency, an exhibition will be held. The region is famous for Taleggio cheese and in July, the annual cheese festival is held. There are many other small villages nearby to explore, as well as mountain paths and trails. Nearby is the town of San Pellegrino, home of the famous water, and Bergamo is about an hour and a half away. The residency focuses on community engagement, so artists working with social practice or collaboraton are encouraged to apply.
