Justice

JUSTICE

What comes to mind when you see the word JUSTICE? Does JUSTICE conjure images of throngs of people marching for civil rights or youth holding signs at a climate change rally? Perhaps you think of issues surrounding systemic racism, data privacy, urban design, labor, food deserts, or how public goods are dispersed.

What happens when we focus on notions of JUSTICE that address the policies that govern our communities, the products that shape our lives, and even the health of the planet? JUSTICE can be personal, political, and often in a state of change with respect to history, newly evolving digital spaces, or different stages of life. Thus, as our global society evolves, our ideas of JUSTICE often need to be reevaluated, updated, and discussed.
