Nude Art/ online exhibition + special edition

Collect Art is looking for artists, working in different media, such as painting, drawing, illustration, photography, collage, and digital art. 

Eligibility: Open to all nationalities and to any aged 18 and above.

Theme: Nude Art

Each selected artist will be included in 1 month long online exhibition, they will receive a 2-6 page spread in print and digital magazines including a biography, statement, interview, website, and 2-10 featured artworks. All published artists will receive a complimentary digital issue of the magazine which will be promoted on our website/social media. In addition, you will receive the link for ordering the printed magazine.

THE SUBLIME NUDE

This exhibition will focus on art that portrays the nude figure and is inspired by the sublime and sensitive aspects of the nude. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery from May 12 - June 4, 2022. All artist interpretations of the theme will be reviewed and considered. The entry deadline is February 28, 2022.

NAKED STATE art residency

Naked State is a 10-day residency to create artworks that explore the nude human body in context of nature, culture and art. For the duration of the residency, the artists and residency Facilitator live as *naturists (in the nude) within the naturist community of Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park to create works that explore questions such as: What is nudity? Does stripping away clothing rid us of class, gender, and personal expression?; Do the connections between our bodies and the land change when nude? Is nudity always sexual? What is the role of the nude in historical and contemporary art?; Is an animal with fur naked? Is it possible to be civil in the nude?; Is there a natural state for human being?
