2025

It’s a tradition at HMVC Gallery to Rewind and Reflect every December on the last year and revisit artworks our artists have created. For artists, anything and everything can be a source of inspiration, so whatever you have created this year let us and our community see it! Whether you like to look back and reflect on your own life or capture a moment or an event from this year, that´s what our December 2025 group show is all about.
The artworks submitted must have been produced this year.

Vibrant Visions 2

As November brings one of the darkest stretches of the year, we turn instead toward color and vibrancy, creating a group art show for artists who dream in color. “Vibrant Visions 2” is a continuation of “Vibrant Visions,” a very colorful show we curated in November 2023.

Forty thousand years ago, the human color palette was limited to just five pigments—red, yellow, brown, black, and white—yet with them, early creators filled the caves of Sulawesi and Altamira with enduring visions. Centuries later, the color blue, ground from precious Lapis Lazuli, became more valuable than gold, reserved solely for religious artworks.

Whispers of October

Our curated October group art show invites artists to explore and express the delicate, fleeting beauty inherent in the month of October. As the world transitions from vibrant warmth to quiet introspection, “Whispers of October” seeks to capture the subtle emotions, transient moments, and poetic nuances that define this unique time of year.

Summer Lovin'

Artists in every medium have perpetually drawn inspiration from the vibrant colors, textures, and emotions associated with summertime. This season is characterized by leisurely days, abundant sunshine, warm nights, outdoor gatherings, travel, lush green landscapes, and an abundance of delectable food and beverages. Whether you’re reminiscing about cherished summer memories or discovering new experiences this season, in our July group art exhibition “Summer Lovin’”, we rejoice in the multiple expressions of summer and eagerly anticipate glimpses into what this sun-drenched season means to you.

We welcome artworks from all mediums of visual art, except AI-created art, and video/film.

Flower Waltz

The rich tradition of floral symbolism in art spans numerous cultures and historical eras. Flowers have long served as a means of expressing human emotions and commemorating important events, leading to their portrayal in various artistic forms. From still-life paintings to the ornate floral wallpaper adorning the palaces of French and English aristocrats. The fusion of art and science is evident in botanical illustrations, a practice dating back to the 1st Century B.C. The Victorian era saw Pre-Raphaelite artists infusing their work with intricate botanical symbolism, while Vincent Van Gogh’s sunflower paintings stand as timeless icons in the art world.
