Small Plates Choreography Festival - NYC

CALL FOR DANCE MAKERS

Applications are open for Small Plates Choreography Festival, a series of two curated dance performances to be presented on November 13, 2026 and November 14, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. at Judson Memorial Church located at 55 Washington Square South, New York, NY, USA

Programming
Small Plates invites applications from dance makers across all genres based in the U.S. We are particularly interested in distinctive, impactful dance works that respond to or reflect our times.

Dance works no longer than 10 minutes will be considered for inclusion in one of two performances. Large group pieces are acceptable, and student-choreographed work will be considered.

MADC's Collective Thread Open Call Submission

MODArts Dance Collective (MADC) is elated to announce its sixth annual dance festival, Collective Thread, on March 11-13, 2021 7:30 PM via Zoom. The purpose of Collective Thread is to provide a voice and a platform for artistic self-impression to those women/womxn identifying artists of underrepresented ethnic groups within the medium of dance. The goal of Collective Thread is to instill artists with the necessary tools to take on leadership roles in an effort to increase diversity, inclusion, and gender equality in the dance field.
