Calling All Artists | Group Exhibition “Neural Backup” at A Space Gallery

In the tides of digital culture, aesthetics no longer orbit authority. From social media to virtual communities and algorithms, the direction of taste is shifting toward the distinct voices of individuals. What once divided “mainstream” from “niche” now dissolves into intersecting, plural currents.

Out of this come new languages built from fragments: Vaporwave’s nostalgia, Weirdcore’s dreamlike haze, Goblincore’s wild devotion, and countless unnamed strains. They are not born of theory, but of distortion, emotion, collage, and lived experience. Such expressions are often intuitive and ambiguous, yet they reveal a posture of art in the information age: style as both a mirror of self and a thread of connection.

Fluid Patterns: Water and Climate Change

We invite artists working in all mediums to submit work for Fluid Patterns, a group exhibition exploring water in the age of climate change.

This show examines water as both a vital resource and a force of disruption—through flood, drought, rising seas, and shifting weather.

We’re especially interested in how patterns—natural, visual, ephemeral or symbolic—emerge from water’s behavior and our relationship to it.

How do we as artists see, feel, or trace these patterns—and what do they reveal?

This national open call welcomes work of all media, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, video, and digital art.

Figurative Art

We are pleased to announce our next Special Edition + Online Exhibition, inviting artists worldwide to submit work for the theme: “Figurative Art.”

This curated exhibition will spotlight contemporary approaches to the human form and figuration—whether representational, abstracted, symbolic, or experimental. We welcome artwork that explores the body as subject, as vessel, as memory, and as metaphor.

Figurative art has long served as a mirror to identity, culture, and history. In this special edition, we seek works that challenge, celebrate, or reimagine what it means to depict the figure in today’s world.

There is no specific theme for this edition.
