Crocker Kingsley

The Crocker-Kingsley Exhibition was first juried in 1940, a tradition that continues to the present day. Over the past 80 years, this prestigious show has included many premier names in American and California art, including Robert Arneson, Elmer Bischoff, Fred Dalkey, David Gilhooly, Ralph Goings, Gregory Kondos, Roland Petersen, Mel Ramos, Ruth Rippon, and Wayne Thiebaud. In the past, this competition has solely featured California artists. However, starting in 2021, the exhibition will be open to submissions from all artists nationally. Works selected by this year’s juror, Carrie Lederer will be on display in all 4 galleries at Blue Line Arts.

Call to Artists: JUSTICE, Online Juried Competition and Exhibition

Deadline: August 3
On view: August 27 – September 12, 2020
Artists Awards & Reception: August 27, 7:30 pm

The Art Guild invites all artists, high school and older, to submit artworks for consideration for “JUSTICE” a Juried Competition and Exhibition. Artwork can say what sometimes words cannot. During these difficult times, we have been inspired to look within ourselves, find ways to “speak out,” and express solidarity and compassion. Show us those emotions and what has empowered and inspired you to address social justice.

Quick Sketch Competition

Las Laguna Gallery is proud to announce our first Quick Sketch Competition.

This competition will run from March 1st, 2018 through July 31st, 2019.

We are seeking 8x10 submissions on heavy duty drawing paper, watercolor paper, or canvas paper ONLY. The Subject matter and Medium are open (no photography, jewelry, sculpture, etc) as long as they meet the paper restrictions and size.

Each month, Las Laguna Gallery will select 2 pieces to be hung in our Laguna Beach Gallery the following month. The artist will only need to mail us the 8x10 original - we will do the matting and framing.
