ART PRIZE @ SIILK GALLERY

SIILK GALLERY are pleased to announce the first edition of our photography award, with a cash prize, online feature / artist interview, culminating with a 2 week solo show at our gallery in Athens, Greece.  The SIILK Gallery Photography Award is available to photographers and photo based artists around the world working in all methods, genres, and styles. We are looking to support photographers whose work is quality, progressive, and contemporary. We promote originality, free expression, and  are against banality and the commercialization of human creativity.

Siilk Gallery Photography Residency, Athens, Greece.

We here at SIILK GALLERY are looking for artists from all walks of life for around the world for our 2020 residency program. We have July, August and December still available in 2020 and January & February in 2021

With the success of our current Gallery throughout 2019 we will be launching a new exhibition space in 2020. This has given us the opportunity to transform our current gallery into a residency self contained studio and exhibition space.

The residency will consist of a 4 week running program with accommodation where you can live and work from the space in Athens, Greece. Use the place for a solo show for the 4 weeks or use it like an open studio, run workshops, talks, utilize the space in whichever way you want.

We here at SIILK GALLERY are looking for photographers from all walks of life from around the world for our 2020 residency program and group shows.

C4E - PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION OPEN CALL DECEMBER / JANUARY

We here at SIILK GALLERY are looking for photographers from all walks of life for around the world for our December 2019 and January 2020 exhibitions. Each exhibition will consist of a 4 week running program with Opening night and pop up events throughout the month at out gallery in the heart of Athens. Your works will also be featured in our online zine - www.siilkgallery.com & will do a feature / interview with you.

The 2 exhibitions are focused around decay, city scapes, street photography & urban sprawl.

Pollinate and The Martin Bough Project is excited to present the first edition of PhotoWeek NYC that will feature 15 photographers exhibited in 15 local businesses’s storefronts. Artworks will be available for purchase online thanks to QR codes that visitors and passersby will be able to scan with their smartphones. 100% of the sales will go to the artists.
