"ROOTING OUR CITIES - Focusing on the unexpected guests" IN BRIEF

GENERAL INFORMATION: International call for any kind of artworks and creative projects dedicated to the plants world. The organizer invites the production of works and proposals dedicated to the plants in the cities, growing sometimes as wonderful unexpected guests, spontaneously popping up in the most unexpected places, taking their right of citizenship.

Submission should be completed with:

• Details of the Author/Authors: name, surname, nationality, date of birth, email address;

• Title of the Artwork;

• Explanatory text.

Please note that only artworks specifically related to plants in the cities will be accepted; more generic works will be considered off-topic.

For this artist opportunity the gallery is seeking works that show flowers, plants, trees, leaves, cactus, or succulents.

Germiante

Germinate is an intensive, week long residency for artists to study plants in Canada. Twice daily workshops, lectures and field trips will give you first hand expiriences with a broad range of botanical information.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 8th Annual “Botanical & Floral” Online Juried Art Competition for the month of July 2018.  The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photographers) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the Gallery’s August 2018 online group art exhibition.
