I am a visual artist living and working in London. My work examines the body, in its presence or absence, as a form of expression and manifestation of identity, culture, ideology, gender, sexuality, social ethics and collective aspirations. My current art project is about gender and language. It will be shown in a solo exhibition in the first week of November.
The assistant’s position is for the production, curation, administration and promotion of the project. I am looking for an open-minded, enthusiastic, organised person with knowledge of the contemporary art scene and strong writing and communication skills who is willing to help in all aspects of delivering the project. An interest in queer, feminist and non-binary sub-cultures and theories is paramount.
