The annual switch event will take place this year from 29th October - 5th of November 2023, in Nenagh, Co Tipperary, Ireland.

Inviting artists working with film / moving image / lens based Media, to consider an application for switch 2023 responding to the theme of Play.

switch began in 2008 showing eight works by eight artists in eight locations in Nenagh town centre. For the 15th edition of this event we are making again an open call to all artists working with film, lens based media and moving image to submit one work. 

Equidistanze | Art Residency

Equidistanze | Residenze Artistiche was founded in 2020 by Magazzeno Arte Contemporanea with the purpose of supporting emerging artists. The residency provides artists with the resources to expand their networks and further their careers.

Equidistanze | Residenze Artistiche is different from typical residencies. It is an opportunity to live alongside other artists, collaborators, art historians and curators. You will be staying in Filetto, a small town in the Italian countryside. It is here your creative energy will flow freely as you transform a public space into your canvas.

Pompano Beach Community Park Water Feature Project

BUDBEGT: $147,000.00

DEADLINE: October 22nd, 2019

The City of Pompano Beach will commission an artist/artist team to design, fabricate, and install a major outdoor sculpture with a water feature to be placed at Pompano Community Park. Pompano Community Park also contains the Aquatics Center which is home to an Olympic sized pool with two one-meter springs boards. The project is open to all professional artists nationwide. The total budget for this project is $150,000. The artwork budget will be $147,000; $3,000 will used to fund shortlisted artists’ designs. Fees, including all insurance, taxes, permits, delivery, interior lighting, installation and engineering will be included in the overall fee.

Call for proposals: artCONNECTS - Montclair Mural Project

artCONNECTS is a public art project sponsored by the Montclair Center BID, in partnership with Studio Montclair. The placemaking project is funded by a grant provided by the NJ Main Street program and the Montclair Center Business Improvement District. Four locations have been identified throughout Downtown Montclair for original painted murals. The locations include a key alleyway, and walls at connection points where art can surprise and delight. Murals are to be temporary, with a five year expected life.

This one-month residency offers accommodation, workspace and materials to a visual or performing artist interested in exploring a public art project in the rural East Cork Village of Killeagh.
