ZK/U Open Call for Residency

In the context of its art and research residency programme, ZK/U offers a ‘living & working’ space for artists, scholars and practitioners involved in exploring the idea and reality of “the city”. The programme is open to contemporary artistic positions that are conceptual, interventionist and contextual.

Selected projects are often informed by theoretical and practice-based critiques within the fields of urban research, geography, anthropology, urbanism, architecture and the humanities. With collaborative practices and peer-to-peer learning at its core, the residency is about exchanging with and learning from other artists and practitioners. It is a space for urban experimentation where fellows connect through common themes and interests.

ARTISTIC RESIDENCY FOR EMERGING DANCE ARTISTS

La Faktoria opens call for applications of LUR ‘EMERGING ARTISTS RESIDENCY’ at La Faktoria Choreographic Center, Noáin (Pamplona-Navarre), from October 28th to November 22nd 2019.

Deadline for applications is on the 8th of September 2019. The selected applicant will be announce on the 30th of September 2019.

Residencies LUR ‘EMERGING ARTISTS RESIDENCY’ aimes at dance artists and dance collectives with 1 or 2 long premiered pieces, developing projects in the field of contemporary dance and live arts.

La Faktoria Choreographic Center offers:

-Studio space to carry out the research and creation of choreographic proposals

-4000€ grant (tax included)

-Access to rest lounge and dining room (fridge and microwave)

Art Research Residency

Art Research Residency is specially designed to enable participants to evaluate their individual places as artists and situate their artistic exploration and practice within both the historical and contemporary context of art production and dissemination in Paris. 

This immersive two-week artist residency session offers a stimulating experience of intercultural exchange, research and professional development. Artists have an opportunity to build lasting connections with the fellow residents and expand their network of Paris-based arts professionals and organizations.

Collectivism Residency

Haarlem Artspace is seeking 5 individuals to join us for our Spring
project ‘Collectivism’ which involves a four-day residency and
one-day conference bringing people together for an exchange
of ideas on the themes of collectivism, resilience and
collaboration. The one-day conference Resilience through
Collectivism will be the second Derbyshire Creative Heritage
conference and is in partnership with Junction Arts.

Banff International Curatorial Institute Fellowship | Visual Arts

Program Overview

The Banff International Curatorial Institute (BICI) Fellowship program supports established curators, arts writers, cultural critics, researchers, and artists in focusing deeply on the development of their work. The program allows for self-directed research over an extended period of 12 weeks, within the creative and intellectually stimulating environment of Visual Arts at Banff Centre. Up to four participants will be selected by an international jury for this unique, fully scholarshipped program.
