Dexter Jones Award Residency

The NSS Dexter Jones Award Residency at Chesterwood, in Stockbridge, MA, will be given to an emerging sculptor working in bas-relief. The award is funded by an endowment in memory of Dexter Jones, past Fellow of National Sculpture Society. The residency will begin on Monday, June 1 – June 30, 2020.  ELIGIBILITY: sculptors born between 1980 – 2001 may apply. Candidates must be citizens of or residents in the United States with a social security number. Candidates must be available to live and work at Chesterwood in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts for the month of June 2020.  A car is essential for transportation around the region.

2020 Old Town Keller Rotating Sculpture Program

In 2017, the Keller Public Arts Board implemented a rotating public art program for outdoor sculptures in the newly updated Old Town Keller area. A $1,500 honorarium is available for each piece selected by the Board for the fourth year of the program. The City of Keller invested over $4 million in improvements for the Old Town location, including the construction of a linear pedestrian promenade, addition of outdoor seating and community areas and installation of 11 concrete sculpture pads. Old Town is home to an eclectic blend of restaurants and small businesses that attract a variety of visitors and provide great exposure for art in the area. For 2020, the Board will select up to 6 sculptures for a two-year exhibit beginning in June 2020.

Call For Entries: Mark Tanner Sculpture Award 2020-21

The most significant award for emerging artists working in the field of sculpture in the UK: offering £8,000 in financial support towards the making of new work + a solo exhibition in 2021. 

The Mark Tanner Sculpture Award is unique in its combination of offering both financial support towards the production of new work and a solo exhibition to an exceptional emerging sculptor. The award now includes a UK Touring Programme, taking MTSA artists to partner venues across the UK.

SculptureNow Exhibition at The Mount 2020

SculptureNow is accepting applications from established and emerging sculptors for its twenty-second consecutive, juried, annual exhibition of large-scale, outdoor sculptures. The show will be presented for the eighth year at The Mount, Edith Wharton’s Home, a historic site in Lenox, MA, from June 1 to October 31, 2020. Existing and proposed sculptures may be submitted for consideration. There is no exhibition theme and no application fee. Up to 30 sculptures may be selected. The exhibition will include both invited and juried sculptors.

30th International Sculpture Conference: Call for Panels

The International Sculpture Center (ISC), is seeking panel proposals for the 30th International Sculpture Conference in Detroit, MI this September 30-October 3, 2020. This conference will feature the annual ISC littleSCULPTURE show, ARTSlams and breakout sessions, engaging panel discussions, evening parties, hands-on workshops, a keynote address, open studios and gallery hops, optional art and culture trips, public art tours and visits to nearby sculpture sites, and more.
