Request for Qualifications: West Harbor Waterfront Public Art

The West Harbor Waterfront Development located at the Port of Los Angeles, is currently seeking proposals for public art installations in 2024 and 2025. A joint venture between San Pedro-based Jerico Development and Ratkovich Company, the development will eventually include more than 350,000 square feet of shops, restaurants, outdoor amphitheater, and public art installations on a 42-acre site along the LA Waterfront. 

3D Art/ Special Edition

Collect Art is looking for 3d artists, working in different media, such as sculpture, ceramic, installation, site-specific, and etc...

Eligibility: Open to all nationalities and any aged 18 and above.

There is no theme for the Issue.

Each selected artist will receive a 2-6 page spread in print and digital magazines including a biography, statement, interview, website, and 2-10 featured artworks. All published artists will receive a complimentary digital issue of the magazine which will be promoted on our website/social media. In addition, you will receive the link for ordering the printed magazine. Each selected Writer will receive a 2-6 page spread in print and digital magazines including their poems/stories, biography, and interview.

Since 2007 "PILOTENKUECHE" is an international art program based in Germany's new art capital Leipzig. The independent project is run by artists to support and empower artists.

 

The International Art Program facilitates a collaborative environment for 12 artists from across the globe, selected to participate in each cycle. Held in a 465m² studio space located in a converted old barbed wire factory, the setting is both inspirational and practical. The studio's design, featuring exposed brickwork, large windows, high ceilings, and underfloor heating, provides an ideal backdrop for creative exploration.

Open Call for Artists Round 61 October to December 2024

Since 2007 "PILOTENKUECHE" has been an international art program based in Leipzig. The independent project is run by artists to support and empower artists.

The international art program selects up to 12 international artists and two local artists, per three months round to collaborate in our 465m² studio and realize two exhibitions during their stay. Located in an inspiring, remodeled factory, our concept aims to create a space that can lead to experimental collaboration and discourse between participants and the larger Leipzig community.
