We Share One Sky

"We Share One Sky" is Newburyport Art's theme for the 2024 calendar year, building off of the successful 2023 launch of the NBPT Murals Project. Last year, the project saw the completion of five exterior murals for our neighborhood and continues into its second phase this Spring. The exhibition We Share One Sky is a special opportunity to connect our entire artist community to the project and the theme! Artists may explore any design, subject, or narrative that ties in any way, shape, or form to the words "we share one sky".

“Sky” Digital Art Contest

Draw, have fun and win prizes in Pixarra’s new illustration contest!

Pixarra is announcing a call for artists for a new digital art contest under the theme of “Sky”. Submission is free of charge and is not limited in the number of entries. 2D and 3D artists from around the world are invited to show their art.

All submissions must be digital paintings created with illustration software and the participants must have the full copyrights on them. Traditional art, photos, photo manipulations, collages and animation are not accepted.

Participants can submit their entries at www.pixarra.com/competition between September 25 and October 21, 2021.

"LAND WATER SKY" Online International Juried Exhibition

Gallery Ring announces a contest that celebrates the Land, Water and Sky.  Artists are encouraged to submit their interpretations and expressions of one or all three topics.  2D artwork including photography/digital is eligible.  All artistic styles from realistic to experimental are welcome.  Aside from the BEST IN SHOW Award, the top Land will win the EMERALD Award, the top Water will win the RUBY Award and the top Sky will win the SAPPHIRE Award.  Many other awards are also available.  All winning artists receive a digital Award Certificate.  Top winners also receive a special Award Page ideal for use in their portfolios and for sharing the news on social media and websites.  All winners and random Finalists will receive exposure and promotion on Gallery Ring's Instagram.  The contes

Gallery Ring announces a new contest that celebrates the Land, Water and Sky.  Artists are encouraged to submit their interpretations and expressions of one or all three topics, not necessarily combined.  Deadline is Monday, August 17th, 2020. Aside from the Best in Show Award, the top Land will win the Emerald Award, the top Water will win the Ruby Award and the top Sky will win the Sapphire Award.  The Diamond Award of Excellence, Crystal Awards of Merit and other awards are also available.  All winners and random Finalists will be featured and promoted on Gallery Ring's Instagram during the event.
