OPEN CALL: SOLO EXHIBITION 2020 PROPOSAL

The Untitled Space gallery invites artists to apply for a Solo Exhibition to take place at the gallery in Tribeca, New York in 2020.
The Untitled Space is looking for an artist with an exceptional body of work that has not been previously exhibited for this unique opportunity. The exhibit will be curated by gallery director Indira Cesarine who will work directly with the artist to select final artwork for exhibition as well as promote it via print and online media. Artists who submit may also be considered for future opportunities with The Untitled Space gallery such as international art fairs, group shows, and online exclusives.
The Untitled Space will coordinate with the artist for the best timing of their exhibition, which will run for a minimum of 2 weeks. The gallery will host an opening reception for the artist, as well as post the exhibition on Artsy as well as other sites to promote the artwork. Expenses including the opening reception, exhibition marketing, and staffing as well as of course the gallery venue will be provided by The Untitled Space (a total value of over $25,000). All details will be finalized directly with the artist to ensure the best possible experience for the gallery and artist to have a successful exhibition.
Artists should have an established exhibition track record, and the focus of the proposal should be on new, unexhibited work. All proposals must include an artist biography, artist statement, images for each submitted artwork as well as documentation on any proposed new works, a project statement, and links to previous exhibitions. Please read all submission guidelines carefully. Keep in mind that artists submitting a majority of new, previously unexhibited work will be prioritized. All ages, genders and mediums will be considered. The recipient of the solo exhibition will additionally be represented by The Untitled Space gallery for a minimum of 6 months in support of the exhibition.
ABOUT THE UNTITLED SPACE
The Untitled Space is an art gallery located in Tribeca, New York in a landmark building on Lispenard Street. Founded in 2015 by Indira Cesarine, the gallery features exhibits of emerging and established contemporary artists exploring conceptual framework and boundary pushing ideology through mediums of painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, video and performance art. The gallery is committing to exploring new ideas vis-à-vis traditional and new mediums and highlights a program of women in art as well as special events aligned with our creative vision.
ABOUT CURATOR INDIRA CESARINE
Indira Cesarine’s work as a curator for The Untitled Space gallery includes includes solo shows for artists Sarah Maple, Rebecca Leveille, Alison Jackson, Fahren Feingold, Kat Toronto aka Miss Meatface, and Jeanette Hayes as well as group shows "BODY BEAUTIFUL", “IRL: Investigating Reality”, "EDEN" and "(HOTEL) XX" at SPRING/BREAK Art Show; ”SECRET GARDEN”, “SHE INSPIRES,” and internationally-celebrated group shows “UPRISE/ANGRY WOMEN” and “ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE” responding to the political climate in America, as well as numerous other critically-acclaimed exhibitions. She is additionally the founder of globally distributed publication “The Untitled Magazine.”

Phyllis Mantik deQuevedo is Awarded a Solo Art Exhibition

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Phyllis Mantik deQuevedo has been awarded a month-long solo art exhibition on its website. Phyllis is an Oklahoma City, Oklahoma based sculptor and her exhibition will be featured on the gallery’s front page and in the “Solo Art Series” section of the website.

Phyllis will also be promoted in 550+ press releases and throughout the gallery’s social media networks. In addition, as part of her award package, Phyllis will now be featured as a Light Space & Time – Artwork Archive promoted artist.

Phyllis’ art will also be featured on the gallery’s YouTube Channel and with an event postcard. At the conclusion of the solo art exhibition, her bronze sculptures will continue to be available for viewing in the gallery’s archive.

The “Solo Art Series” consists of four month-long solo art exhibitions for established artists, who have a body of work to present to the public.

To be considered for these shows, artists were asked to submit 3 components: 1. Their art.  2. Their artist biography.  3. 4 Solo Art Exhibition Opportunities & 8 Artist Showcases Will be Awarded

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces their tenth “Solo Art Series” Online Art Competition.  The gallery will judge and select the Top 12 artists who have a complete “Body of Work” to show.  From that group of 12 artists, the gallery will award of 4 monthly Solo Art Exhibitions and the next 8 artists will be awarded and featured in the gallery’s Artist Showcase Section.

The gallery invites online submission of all 2D and 3D art (including photography & digital arts) from artists around the world for possible selection for one the Gallery’s monthly solo art exhibitions.  This competition will result in a series of 4 one month solo art exhibitions beginning on September 15, 2018, and continuing through January 14, 2019.  The gallery encourages artists regardless of where they reside to submit their best representational and non-representational art to this competition.  There is No Theme for this “Solo Art Series” Art Competition.

The top 4 entries will be featured online at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery during the month of September, October, November and December 2018 and the next 8 juried entries will be featured in the gallery’s Artist Showcase Section.   In addition, each winning Artist Showcase Artist will have their Showcase feature promoted with extensive worldwide publicity in the form of email marketing and 350+ press release announcements. The deadline to apply to this “Solo Art Series” is September 5, 2018

The LST Gallery website averages 70,000+ visitors a month with more than 225,000+ page views. Out of that amount of visitors, 80% are new visitors to the website.  Being juried into the Solo Art Exhibition Series should result in an increase in visitor traffic to the artist’s website. 

In addition to the above, winning artists being accepted into the “Solo” Art Series will receive extensive worldwide publicity in the form of email marketing, 550+ press release announcements and wide-spread social media marketing and promotion in order to make the art world aware of the artist’s solo art exhibition.  There will also be a video of the winning artist's artworks on the Light Space & Time YouTube Channel.
