Dacia Gallery is pleased to invite emerging and established artists to submit artwork for an opportunity to participate in Dacia Gallery's Nine-Year Anniversary Group Exhibition. We are looking for a diverse body of artwork in all mediums and styles that is based on figurative art and portraits, this will be a group show comprised of artwork created by contemporary artists, exhibiting what is being created on today. September is a big month for art in NYC, all the major opening receptions and exhibitions take place in September, at Dacia Gallery we look forward to exhibiting your work to the art aficionados of NYC.

New York’s leading public art nonprofit Creative Time invites artists to submit proposals for a public artwork beginning December 10, 2018. The call is open to New York City-based, practicing artists at a pivotal juncture in their career, who have not yet received a public commission or substantial support from a major cultural institution. Creative Time is most interested in ideas that take unconventional exhibition formats, speak to a pressing social issue, and engender public dialogue. The project should be timely, and hold the potential to spark critical public exchange.
