Biodesign Sprint 2022

Mars Wrigley and Biodesign Challenge are partnering on a month-long design exploration that asks for new ways to foster the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of people with food systems that also support the health of the environment.

Students, professionals, hobbyists, and enthusiasts from across the globe are invited to envision and create food and agricultural products and processes that help create a future where everyone can thrive. Participants have the chance to collaborate with Mars and sustain ongoing mentorship from leaders within Mars.

HBE clothing Open Call

TO ALL THE CREATIVES OUT THERE

Hey guys,

we’re three students from the famous German Ruhrpott and we’re going to launch our streetwear clothing brand in the upcoming months. The difference between us and other streetwear brands is that we’re going to be completely sustainable and GOTS-certified. By doing so, we try to combine two things we love and want to engage with: Streetwear and ecological, socially responsible fashion. The combination of both is what we are missing the most when trying to find good fashion.

1.5 degrees

Exhibition 15.1.2021 – 12.3.2021

The 1.5-degree target is understood to mean the goal of limiting the man-made global temperature increase due to the greenhouse effect to 1.5 degrees Celsius by 2100 from the level before the start of industrialization. Almost all the states of the world have signed a treaty with the Paris Convention, according to which they intend to make efforts to achieve the 1.5 degree target. Climate researchers doubt that we will reach this goal, we would already be at 2 degrees. There is a lack of political will. Fridays for Future are fighting to keep the contract.

Call for submission for the Green Product Award 2020

For the seventh time green products and concepts can be submitted to the international Green Product Award. This year we want to create a "Future Village" with interested parties, where sustainable living and working -from the outer wall to the soap- should come alive. Green pavilions form the center and highlight for festivals & fairs in 2020.
