Performing Arts & Indigenous Arts Creation Lab - Spring 2022 | In-Person

Overview
Creation Lab residencies are designed for performing artists and companies worldwide to develop their new work in one or more Banff Centre studio spaces on the land of Sacred Buffalo Guardian Mountain. Creation Lab is a partnered initiative of Performing Arts and Indigenous Arts at Banff Centre. The focus of these self-directed residencies is to offer contemplative and creative exploration in performance spaces. This can include experimentation with choreography, improvisations and sight specific areas. Collaborations with Indigenous artists outside of similar accessibility will also be considered.

Overview
In partnership with Performing Arts, Indigenous Arts Creation Lab residencies are designed for Indigenous Performing Arts artists, collectives or companies with a regional, national and global focus to develop the physical creation phase of their new work on the territory of Sacred Buffalo Guardian Mountain. The focus of these self-directed residencies is to offer contemplative and creative exploration in performance spaces. This can include experimentation with choreography, improvisations and sight specific areas. Collaborations with Indigenous artists outside of similar accessibility will also be considered.

Emily@Home Digital Arts Project

Emily@Home OPEN CALL for Video Submissions

Emily@Home Digital Arts Project, an open call for video submissions from the public based on passages from ’Emily of Emerald Hill’, the critically acclaimed monologue in Singapore since 1982.    This monodrama, written by well-known Stella Kon, who is a playwright, novelist, short-story writer and poet, has been performed locally as well as internationally.

Emily@Home is supported by the National Arts Council’s Digital Presentation Grant for the Arts, as part of the #SGCultureAnywhere campaign to bring together the best of Singapore’s arts and culture digital offerings to be enjoyed and experienced, anytime and anywhere.

HomeBrew: 5 x £1000 Commissions for Somerset Artists

HomeBrew’s commission strand invites local artists to produce work that will inspire, inform and entertain audiences online.

We will be awarding five £1,000 commissions to Somerset-based digital artists, who will create new work that is proudly and inherently digital. Each project will explore an unseen, unknown or unexpected side of Somerset.

The final projects will be hosted on the Brewhouse website throughout August and September as part of the HomeBrew Digital Season.

In November 2020, Kyber Theatre organises in Cagliari (Italy) the 7th Edition of the International Theatre, Art and New Technologies Festival called
“The Wonders of Possible”.

LMDP Festival is the first of this kind in the whole Italy. Its aim is to promote the interrelation between artistic and technological languages.
