CON-TEMPORARY Art Observatorium is looking for artists to complete the selections of "Conceptual Matters", thematic group exhibition curated by Abramo ‘Tepes’ Montini that will be held at CTAO exhibition room in Lavagna, Italy.

Please e-mail your application urgently and don't wait the deadline, since we will close selections as soon as we fulfil the closed number of exhibiting artists showing quality and thematic coherence. Please understand that only pre-selected artists will get an answer.

Accepted artworks: bi-dimensional including video art, small objects.

Led by faculty Joi Arcand, Whess Harman, August Klintberg, and Michael Turner, Visual Arts Thematic Residency – Get LIT! Language, Image, Text invites visual artists working in all mediums to explore language, image, words, and text through self-directed studio practice and research-creation.

This five-week residency offers a structured space where visual artists come together to create work and discuss the pertinent theme, as well as time and space to delve deeply into their practice while away from the constrains of everyday life.

Visual Arts Thematic: The Weapon of Theory as a Conference of Birds

Overview
Co-led by Ayesha Hameed and Xenia Benivolski with guest faculty Kite and Jota Mombaça, this visual arts residency welcomes artists who are interested in exploring music, language and rhythm as they affect the geological, bio-political, and the mnemonic through media, performance, language, and writing.
