Taking place between 25 April – 2 July 2024, it is designed to help participants navigate the specific needs and challenges faced by craftspeople's business enterprises seeking to expand and thrive within the competitive marketplace. With expert trainers from around Europe, the programme offers tailored business training, workshops, resources and mentoring to help craftspeople and makers build a solid and usable business plan and establish a peer support network across Europe.

Call for Indigenous filmmakers: get customized training to develop a short documentary through NSI IndigiDocs

The National Screen Institute – Canada (NSI) is now accepting applications for the 2020 edition of NSI IndigiDocs – a two-phase course offering customized training for Indigenous filmmakers to develop a short documentary.

New for this edition of NSI IndigiDocs: applicants no longer apply as a team. NSI IndigiDocs is now designed for individual filmmakers who have an idea for a 10-minute documentary film.

In phase 1 up to eight students will attend a 12-day boot camp in Winnipeg to learn about writing, producing and directing, and develop a script for their documentary idea. At the end of phase 1 all students will have a market-ready film proposal.

Composers & the Voice Applications Available Now

American Opera Projects (AOP) is proud to announce the return of its popular Composers & the Voice program for its 2019-2021 season. The tenth cycle of the program will select 6 composers and up to 3 librettists for a two-year fellowship. The primary focus of Composers & the Voice is to give composers and librettists extensive experience working collaboratively with singers on writing for the voice and contemporary opera stage.
