Not Aspiring to Be Humble

All woman-identifying 2-D and video artists age 18+ are invited to submit their work to the "Not Aspiring to Be Humble" juried exhibition in the virtual gallery at 119 North Weatherly Contemporary Art Gallery in Minneapolis, MN. This exhibition will uplift women artists in the wake of the 2024 election in the United States, and all styles and subject matter are welcome. Each artist may submit up to three pieces for $11 each ($33 total), and because this exhibition takes place entirely online, all artists will keep 100% of the sales price of any piece that sells in the gallery--no commissions will be taken. Submission deadline: February 28, 2025. Artist notification date: March 7, 2025. Exhibition dates: March 10-April 30, 2025.

Magmart Festival 14th edition

The international call for the 14th edition of the international video art festival Magmart is open!.
It will be a special edition, because in 2025 we'll celebrate the twentieth anniversary of our festival, and we are preparing a program full of events, to celebrate this birthday. But it's a party that needs you, the participation of video artists from all over the world, those who have already been with us in past editions, and those who will be for the first time!

Odds and Ends Experimental Film Festival Call for Submissions

Odds & Ends is an experimental film festival located in Charlottesville, Virginia. The festival will hold its inaugural screening on April 29th, 2023 at the Vinegar Hill Theatre and will be presented by Light House Studio.

We seek films and videos that push formal and conceptual boundaries, allowing for multiple ways of understanding and interpretation. Our aim is to celebrate a diverse range of films that work across modes and genres, addressing the materiality of the medium from poetic, personal, or political perspectives. We welcome everyone, especially innovative works by emerging filmmakers that work outside of commercial structures.
