MASKS for AID: Connected

HNC Living Foundation seeks to commission 15-20 unique pieces of artwork for fundraising gala and art exhibit in the Kansas City Metro. HNC Living Foundation provides financial assistance to people living with head and neck cancer. This two-part art exhibition will benefit HNC Living Foundation’s annual fundraising event to support funding for head and neck cancer patient services.

Details: Artists are asked to transform a radiation mask used during radiation treatment of head and neck cancer into a three-dimensional piece of artwork. The mask will be provided to each artist upon selection and should be used creatively to support the artist’s vision. Artists can deconstruct, manipulate, or re-form the material as needed to accomplish their vision for the artwork.
